I had a pleasant surprise at this restaurant. I was welcomed by an enthusiastic staff member who mentioned he had just taken a few chicken stoppers out of the pan. He then prepared one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. It featured freshly roasted paprika, sliced chicken, mozzarella, and a thin slice of sopressata all on some amazing bread. Our go-to place for Italian specialties, a Flemington gem. Fresh real bread, prepared dinners, house made sausage, rice balls, pepperoni bread, cheese, olives and peppers- everything you need if Mama is visiting for dinner. Its not a Subway. These are real made to order Jersey deli sandwiches- my last Italian Sub had almost an inch of meat and cheese on a crusty sub roll....hot peppers...mmmm
I visited this restaurant when it first opened in 1988, and I've been making weekly trips to New Jersey for years. This past weekend, I went back and purchased a substantial amount of food. It was fantastic! All of the pasta dishes were excellent, and the eggplant dishes were remarkable as well. The service was not very impressive, but I will definitely be returning often.

Rice balls are from this world sauce is perfection. homemade filled bowls so good. The owner is always nice to me every time I go. so wonderful to have real house made food. so beautiful to see, Italian food made right in front of your eyes. Now... I call it fresh!!
Friendly service. Great spot to get the ingredients for a great Italian meal. Their breaded chicken is delicious and is perfect for chicken parmesan. Their manicotti is delicious. The stuffed breads are also very good. Great local treasure.
Everything I have had here is incredible. Store made ravioli, fresh pasta, chicken cutlets, eggplant rollatini all amazing. Their fresh made mozzarella is an addiction.
