Just home from a 1st time visit at the Marine Hotel. It was a treat for my daughter and I and it is one we will not forget. We received a very warm welcome from Gordon the Concierge who greeted us with a smile and helped us in with our luggage which was great as we both use walking aids. He set the scene for our break with his caring support, ensuring our room met our needs and speaking highly of the facilitieson offer. The staff who served us in both The Seal and at breakfast in The Rabbit were extremely attentive and again this added to our enjoyment. The young gentleman on duty at the pool both nights was very supportive of my needs and understood my anxiety about trying out the jacuzzi h...
I wasn’t to be disappointed from start to finish with the course taster menu however I really need to cut to the chase….the flash fried halibut with parmesan mash and lobster bisque was probably the nicest fish dish I have ever had the pleasure to eat……no exceptions.The quality of the fish, cooked to perfection and complimented by an exquisite parmesan mash was sublime, in fact I would gladly have swapped at least other courses for one more portion of the halibut!!
I was not disappointed from the beginning to finish with the 5 course-suck menu, but I really need to cut to the nase. the flash fried healbutt with Parmesan-Mash and Hummer-Bisque was probably the most beautiful fish dish I ever had to eat the joy. no exception. the quality of the fish, boiled for perfection and compliment of an exquisite Parmesan mash, in which I would have liked to exchange at least 3 other courses for another part of the healbutt!
The hotel is lovely. Staff are very pleasant this is our 2nd stay the facilities are very good, I thought the room we had was a bit small and TV was to the left of the bed which made it uncomfortable to watch Food in the rabbit was lovely for dinner I had the salmon and sourdough bread for breakfast it could have done with a little butter on the bread as it was quite dry or even a little cream cheese But overall, great value and we will return Book a table now
Noisy due to dog in next room, sounded like a kennel and after what we paid not good. Unlikely to return. No robes provided for Spa and mini-bar not stocked as per room list. Room was not ready when we arrived at 2.50pm.
Be awarded the photos of that hotel are misleading. They don’t represent the reality. The staff is really amateur, absolutely inappropriate for tourism industry. Mostly the poor wellness center staff. Not recommended
Beautiful hotel, very classic in style but lovely. We had a 2 night stay in a sea view suite which really made our trip special
Good swimming pool absolutely love the sauna! . After the re management the price has gone up exponentialy. Book a table now
