Didn’t want to trek out of town for a good (non-chain) meal on a Sunday night — and somehow we always forget about the Two Stones Pub in Hedgelawn Plaza. I’m so glad that we reintroduced ourselves last night! We’ve been fans of this brand since their OG restaurant in Newark (and it was the 2nd stop on our first date), and we’ve never been disappointed in their food! We had the chef weekly feature Ramen Mussels special for sharing, my husband the shrimp gumbo special, and I had the Summer Crab Risotto! Everything was delicious! Went here with some friends, because one of them was talking about how good the food was.Sat down and looked at the menu, wasn't all.thw impressed.Want e to try a burger, but, two of the five burgers weren't even beef, and one of them wasn't even meat.So I opted for the wings instead.Their hottest sauce was barely more spicy than just plain old ketchup, and had about as much flavor.Also ordered the loaded fires (to share), and after one bite, I was stuck with them by myself.This place is trying to hard to be trendy, and not paying attention to what they are representing.Would I go back?Probably not, but the staff was friendly, so I won't tell people NOT to go, just don't expect too much for...
This is my favorite place to eat. The food is always good and comes out the right way every time. Service was great. Our server was somewhat green and we are difficult but he did a phenomenal job. Would totally recommend. We drive over an hour just to eat here.I recommend the pretzels, the hot lanta(oh my freeking gawd, incredible) and the Mac and cheese for the little ones is real Mac and cheese.... Not blue box.Go eat there ant any one of the locations they are all great.Kid-friendliness: I have kids they make a mess.... This place lets us come back.
My wife was really looking forward to eating here . So her and I along with another couple drove up to have dinner . The staff were great and offered us samples of drafts they had . Everything was great till our diners came out . The fish and chips were horrible and my wife couldn't eat it. I tried a piece and it was not good at all. The turkey burger was bland if not for the Russian dressing . The Ceasars salad was good and my burger was ordered medium well and was burnt and thats all you could taste . This was our first and last time going

We have been to this restaurant numerous times. And also to the one on Foulk rd It just seems like every time we want to order off their special menu they have run out! How does this happen???? And another complaint is my kids go to Foulk rd regularly and talk about what awesome soups they have!!! All o ever see on the menu in Middletown is GUMBO alright already!!! Offer something else!!!!
Great bar-keep, trying to find perfect beer for companion. Decided on the Chardonnay(?? . I had risotto Milanese and companion salmon with roasted brussel sprouts over a sweet potato hash with a beet reduction. This is some high level food for a brew pub. We have our new go-to place when in town. Well done!
I've been to multiple 2SP and this one shines bright. The venue is large and decorative. The menu looked delicious and I couldn't help myself ordering the brisket. Insane!
The wings really didn't standout against the 100's of other restaurants I've been to but for service and atmosphere this is a nice little stop.
