I had a terrible experience at the restaurant tonight. The waitress was hardly ever present, and we never received the water or drinks we requested. I ordered a burger that didn't taste good, and when I mentioned it to the waitress, she offered to let me choose something else. I ordered a different burger, but we were charged for both. When I tried to discuss this with the owner, he yelled at us in front of everyone in the restaurant. He refused to take the charge off the bill, and the waitress even handed us a pen to sign a receipt that stated "the customer is always wrong." I can't believe how poorly we were treated by the owner.
This restaurant frequently appears on GR Eats as one of the top spots in town, and it certainly lives up to the reputation. The owners are always on hand and happy to chat. They even whip up dishes on the spot to cater to your preferences. The service is fast and friendly, and the menu is truly inspired. As someone with a gluten sensitivity, I was pleased to receive many recommendations and see them adjust their menu to accommodate me. Although we're usually not fans of Michigan wines, we were pleasantly surprised by their dry white selection. I regret that we waited so long to visit this place. We'll definitely be back—soon!

Delicious food and beer. They have a great menu and creative specials. Last visit I had their birthday special which was brisket with a choice of sides and corn bread. I chose mashed potatoes and gravy, macaroni and cheese, and french fries. I also added pulled pork. Everything was AMAZING! Great atmosphere and friendly staff. It is not unusual to have one of the owners stop at our table to ask how everything was.
This place is top notch! Love the food, the beer is great! I had one of the burgers, and it was delicious. Every time I go there I want to try something else on the menu but I go there for the burger so there's always this internal dilemma.
I wish I could rate this place 4.5 stars! It was good, but unfortunately, they were out of many of the beers and menu items we wanted to try during our visit. I will definitely give it another chance, as what we did get was really tasty.
This place is fantastic, offering delicious food and a great selection of beers. The flagship Double India Pale Ale was excellent. The outdoor patio is a lovely place to unwind on a cool Michigan evening.
