This wouldn't be my first choice for eating out in Carnac. We had galette for dinner and they were quite expensive for essentially a pancake with cheese. We had dessert because they weren't very filling and ended up spending a lot more than we would have spent on a nice 3 course meal elsewhere. The menu is quite confusing. Maybe the mussels are a better bet, we saw a few people eating them. The other creperie restaurants were full, so we ended up here by default. It was virtually empty so maybe try the others first, but you'll need a reservation.
We were lucky to get a table this evening because it was the evening Market in Carnac and everywhere was busy. And we were lucky to get a table inside because the evening got cool and a little damp. Ty Gwelig seems a bit disorganised, but all the staff were welcoming and friendly.. I had the entrecote which arrived a bit overdone, and with too much sauce. The others had galettes, which were enjoyed. We shared desserts. Very good value and the little nip of hot caramel rum when I was paying was really nice.
Rien à redire, service parfait, cuisine copieuse et délicieuse, super bonnes galettes!! Nous sommes venus deux fois d'affilé et nous y reviendrons!! Bonne adresse!! Je conseille vivement
The nicest creperie in Carnac. The pancakes are excellent. The dark chocolate pancake is sublime. The Roquefort mussels are a delight. Beer (dark) and ciders are perfect.

Wir kamen am kurz nach Mittag ins "Ty Gwelig" um eine "Galette Complète" zu essen. Der Service war recht freundlich. Leider war das Galette recht trocken. Enttäuschend !
Très bonne crèperie qui sert des crêpes aux fruits de mer avec une sauce aux salicornes délicieuses. La crêpe aux pommes flamblée était très bonne également
Un bon moment passé dans ce restaurant : huitres et moules à la bretonne très bonnes. Serveuses aimables. Service efficace.
Ne paye pas de mine au 1er abord mais nous nous sommes régalés. Produits frais et tout est fait maison. Nous recommandons.
