First meal out post Covid restrictions for a 21st birthday celebration. Pre booked a table online easily and had there is very clear covid guidance and information about safety precautions. Staff wore masks and non- intrusive screens were between tables. Menu was extensive and had something for everyone. Separate vegan menu and staff were happy to check if the 9 dish vegetarian set menu could be made vegan- turned out it was anyway with the exception of one dish that was substituted for an alternative. They should advertise this. The food was sublime. They had to pause cooking so we could catch up with the dishes they brought out. Drinks were lovely. Decor was fabulous.
The menu was extensive, with something for everyone, including a separate vegan menu. The staff were more than willing to check if the nine-dish vegetarian set menu could be made vegan, which was helpful. They ended up accommodating this request by replacing one dish with an alternative.
The service was attentive, ensuring that we had enough time to catch up while they brought out our dishes. The drinks were delightful, and the decor was stunning. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!
I had an amazing experience at the restaurant with their outstanding vegan sushi. They offer a separate vegan menu with a wide range of choices, including noodle and curry dishes. I tried the Green Dragon specialty roll, and it was absolutely delicious. It was packed with flavor, featured unique ingredients, and the tempura asparagus—a first for me—was delightful. I can't wait to go back and explore more options from the menu!
The Bento Box options were amazing. The smoked dish was a bit salty, but still tasty! Service was quite slow during busy periods. While it may not be very authentic, it's definitely one of the best spots in Nottingham for Japanese cuisine. I went for dinner again and was somewhat let down this time. The bento box miso veggies were incredible. The ramen was a little salty but good! Very slow service during busy times though. Not very authentic but one of best places in Notts for Japanese food. Went again for dinner and was kinda disappointed. Updated from previous review on 2022-09-25
It was great to have a variety of options on a dedicated vegan menu. The waiter was very knowledgeable about the vegan selections, which was reassuring. The food was delicious, and I would definitely recommend it. The tempura enoki mushrooms were the highlight of the meal!
I am incredibly impressed with this sushi! I’ve dined here twice and enjoyed the same fantastic experience each time. I also want to give a special mention to the mushroom kushiyaki—it’s delicious! Updated from my previous review on August 12, 2023.
Fair few vegan options and staff were knowledgeable about gf and vegan options, only downside is there weren’t many gf and vegan options in the bento box, but other than that I’d definitely come again! #Veganuary

The restaurant has a well-thought-out menu with plenty of vegan options. The staff is fantastic and offers great recommendations. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and would definitely recommend paying a visit.
