Right at the little ferry crossing, this cafe serves up a delicious fresh mozzarella, tomatoes and basil on fresh bread, along with a decent kasekrainer and passable curry wurst. But it's really about the middle-of-nowhere locale and cool relaxed vibe. Relax for half an hour after the bike ride from Vienna, take the ferry across (2.80 euros for adults) and either bike back down to Vienna along the Donau Insel or head another 7k to Kreuzenstein Castle. Another great way to spend a day when in Vienna!
Crossing the Danube just for fun. Or like many- do nothing just share a coffee and watch the ferry crossing. Sometimes closed, sometimes mosquito populated. But due to danube a windy spot on hot summer days
outstanding location, chilly place, friendly staff, good food and drinks. always a pleasure to come back for a "chillout-käsekrainer"
