excellent for a family-friendly day or just for a meal or a drink. Social distancing on site and hand sanitiser enters. good food and service. children's playground, farm shop, plant selection and generally a good day. was already several times before and near haytor with good view over teign valley. update 18. juni 2022: no masks or handsanitising required. some minor changes have made it even more attractive, especially for those with younger children who can drive on pedal tractors in the tractor barn. a few kites, pigs and rabbits are also safely accommodated there. many animals strip the surrounding fields and around haytor on dartmoor. booking is advisable as it can be very busy.

if they are looking for a big breakfast, then this is certainly a place to go. the breakfast was very delicious and filling. the staff is friendly and helpful and offers an excellent service level. the atmosphere of the place is very clear and it is pointed out that they should book before themselves if they want to eat here as they can be disappointed. in front of place has also animals that they can feed, a farm house and a metzger all are worth it, a look.

Absolutely amazing place. Visited for the first time recently and will definitely be returning, ate in the cafe and the staff were incredibly helpful, offered a smaller portion for my son who was 11 months old at the time, all smiling and attentive. Farm shop is well stocked and very well priced too, lots of activities planned for kids over the Easter break too. Looking forward to returning

beautiful caffe with a large selection on the menu. I chose a burger with pulled pork and chips, it was beautiful. I was offered sauces and they brought a sweet chili and an extra hot and wore it blowing out my socks, but did not stop my chips for more. reasonable prices. there was a playground for younger children, an ideal stop when they visit dartmoor.
