So first off everything we ordered was great. Not from the area. Was on Google searching for a close seafood joint and stumbled across this little gem. Glad we decided to nix the seafood and try this place(although they do have seafood). Shrimp dumplings were slamming. Umai salad was also slamming. We got the ramen with pork, it was delicious and the noodles were perfect. Got the BBQ squid it was pretty good also. And then came the sushi. We got the volcano, mega lobster, and California rolls. All very delicious. I'd recommend giving this place to anyone who loves Asian cuisine. Hoping I make it over this way soon again so I can visit again and try more from the menu. Or maybe I'll just make...

I've always wanted to try Umai Cafe, and its interior is charming and cozy. The staff are friendly and accommodating. However, I was disappointed with the pork bao rolls I ordered from the menu. They were quite small, each containing only a tiny piece of pork. The rolls lacked flavor, and after waiting 15 minutes, my order arrived cold. The pork didn’t taste fresh, though I appreciated that it was real slices rather than low-quality shredded meat. Unfortunately, it felt more like eating cold bao pastry than enjoying any substantial meat. The accompanying vegetables were underwhelming as well. Overall, the quality fell short compared to other bao places I’ve tried. On the bright side, the sus...

Always wanted to try this Japanese cafe. The inside is very cute and cozy. The staff is very nice and helpful. I ordered pork bao buns not impressed at all. The buns were so small, it comes with one tiny piece of pork in each bun, the buns did not tastesteamed at all, and after 15 minutes putting my order in, the buns came out cold. The pork didn?t taste like it was freshlycooked. I would say I appreciate that it was real pork slices instead of shredded low quality pork but it felt like I was eatingmainly cold bao bun dough and barely any meat. The vegetables that come in it weren?t all that great either. Very disappointedon the quality of it compared to most bao buns. The sushi was very goo...

I have to say, the food I had here was the worst I've ever tasted. It had a plastic-like smell and seemed to be of very low quality. The chicken was particularly disappointing. When I tried to express my concerns, the staff seemed indifferent. They mentioned that the food had been sitting out for an hour, but that was all they could do about it. There’s a big difference between just bad food and food that’s cold and stale! Book a table now

Had been here before and remember it being pretty good so I placed an order for pick up. Ordered 2 Mexico rolls and some other rolls. Got home and both Mexico rolls had hard rubbery avocado in them, which ruined both rolls. They would have known cutting up the avocado that it was bad but they decided to use it anyway. Pretty disappointing?.

A wonderful, quiet spot to enjoy some delicious sushi. The staff were friendly and attentive, making it a perfect break from cooking at home. The sashimi portions were impressive! We ordered two bowls of soup, four pieces of sashimi, and two rolls. Definitely planning to return.

We have been hunting for a new sushi spot and this place is in the running for the top spot locally. Lots of mushrooms i the soup. Not too much rice in the sushi. Plenty of protein and flavor. The avocado salad was beautifully prepared and the ginger dressing tasted fresh.

I ordered from Uber Eats and although the sushi was great the mushroom tofu soup tasted like chlorine and the pork bao buns were just pasty and filled with 1 little piece of flavorless pork fat. Why on earth does this place has good reviews? Book a table now
