The staff at this restaurant is incredibly friendly. My favorite dish to get here is either their marinara slice, which is bursting with garlic flavor and doesn't even need cheese because it's so good, or the vegan deep dish pie. I often order a whole pie for myself and heat it up in my toaster for the next few days, as it reheats perfectly. They have a wide variety of options, and their vegan knots are also delicious.
I arrived very late, about 1 hour before closing, and was pleasantly surprised to find that they still had vegan pizza available. I ordered one with cheese and one with mushrooms, both of which were delicious. Even my non-vegan companion enjoyed the pizza. The customer service was excellent, with the staff being very friendly and helpful in explaining which items were vegan.
Came in really late about 1 hr before closing and they still had vegan pizza by the slice left on the counter. Got 1 cheese and one mushroom/olive slice. Both were great and even omnivores liked the pizza. Cheese wasn’t sticky. The customer service was great too. The people were very friendly and helpful with what was /wasn’t vegan
Umberto’s offers 3 vegan pizza options- regular vegan cheese, broccoli with spinach and mushroom with olives pizza. I had regular vegan cheese slices. Pretty good especially the crust. Friendly service. Only con is that it’s a little pricey $4.95 for one slice of vegan pizza. Book a table now
I tried the vegan meatball Parmesan hero and it was amazing. The restaurant makes their own vegan meatballs and also offers a separate vegan menu. I enjoyed the food so much that I forgot to take a picture of it. I am excited to return and try more of their offerings.
The vegan nut cake was incredibly delicious. The knots were average and we were not impressed by the garden meatball. The buffalo cauliflower was disappointing as it was simply steamed cauliflower in buffalo sauce - we were hoping for it to be battered.
We ordered a vegan pie, and it was fantastic! The fact that they have a full vegan menu is really impressive and exciting, so I know we'll definitely be returning to try more dishes in the future.
There are a lot of choices at this restaurant. I always order multiple dishes and they are always delicious. My favorite is the vegan Sicilian cake. Book a table now
