I had the pleasure of dining here for dinner, and I must say it was a fantastic experience. The price per person was around $30-$50, which is quite reasonable for the quality of food and service you receive.
The food was exceptional, earning a solid 5 out of 5. I highly recommend trying the Miso Soup, Umi, and the sushi; each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor.

I had a lovely visit to Umi Sushi. I took one of my kids there to celebrate a birthday lunch. Although the interior of the restaurant seems small, there's a spacious patio in the back with plenty of outdoor seating. The setup creates a pleasant atmosphere. For lunch, I ordered my favorite: the shrimp tempura roll, along with the hibachi steak and shrimp. I believe it was my first time trying the hibachi dish, but I'd definitely have it again. The steak was well-cooked and tender, and the shrimp complemented it nicely.
best sushi i’ve had at a very fair price. the clear soup was the best i’ve had. the garlic chili tofu is perfectly crisp on the outside while very soft on the inside. the vegetable tempura has a large serving size with a delicious sauce. the angry lobster roll is hands down the best roll i’ve tried. highly recommend, great service, one of my favorite places to eat.

Beautiful outdoor dining area in the backyard. The salmon dish was good or bad, as each time the amount of the salmon fish on my plate varies. Too disappointed to take a photo of it today, very thinly sliced, wheras my previous experience was better . I feel it could not be sold by weight, as once explained to me by the staff. I will try something else next time.
Some of the best sushi around. Love the new outdoor patio. If you plan on going on a weekend I highly recommend a reservation as they can be quite busy. Unfortunately, if you use a walking aid or wheelchair you will not be able to access the outdoor patioand entering the restaurant itself can be quite a challenge due to a steep ramp.
Made reservations for Saturday night, place was busy and packed and was pleasantly surprised how quick the service was and that food came out very quickly. I got the omakase nigiri set, and I was again pleasantly surprised at the cuts of fish offered, and that each piece was amazing. Easily the best sushi in MD.
I had a wonderful experience at this sushi restaurant. The tuna sampler was outstanding! While I wasn't a fan of the salad dressing (not a major issue), the sashimi plate we ordered didn't quite appeal to me either. However, the presentation and flavor of the dishes were impressive!
