Umi - Winter Park - Table reservation

I visited in juli and also in nov. both paintings the restaurant appears badly managed and badly managed. the total experience is disappointing. it takes 45 minutes to get her sushi order, regardless of whether the restaurant is busy or slow. the server tried to be pleasant, but the service was inefficient and the server seemed to have little control over the situation. after 45 minutes waiting for our food, someone came to the table saying that they are the manager and offered to help us. our sushi started shortly after. at umi they pay premium price, but they get a substandard experience.

the restaurant never fails! eating is amazing! sushi is so fresh and perfect. the aubergine and sweet potato noodles are stars in this show, one must, each time. the robata grill is exceptional! I have eaten here for years and never have a bad meal. ever! only place in orlando area for amazing Japanese cuisine. david is an incredible server and will deliver exceptional service!

overall: (4. umi is consistently very good. food: (4th walker salad, sushi rolls, nigiri: all very good. drink: (3rd wine and beer selection ok; I miss a full bar. service: (5th service of muna was outstanding again. description vibe: (4th nice, simple and crisp decor. value: (4th reasonable prices).

amazing eating, the sushi is delicious. the tuna on tuna is from this world. service is excellent. really recommend the place. to top when out, the owner was as gracious as they checked on our table several times on our party. she gave tee all the table. very grateful.

Very nice evening of outdoor dining. The manager waited on us and the owner came by to say hello. Food was delicious.
