This place is a joke. I asked for a lemonade and they gave me just a glass of it and asked me to pay 4€ for that. The waitress is really unpolite: I'm not French mother tongue so when I had to order I didn't speak perfectly and she replied in an odd way. I'm really disappointed, they have high prices with no reason. My girlfriend had a tea and it looked like water. Awful
It's a charming little tea room and garden just off the high street. No cooked food but excellent quiche / salad / pate type things, and of course tea.Would have rated it excellent but the waitress lacked a few basic social skills. Great for a lunchtime / afternoon snack. 57 euro for 2 with soft drinks seemed reasonable!
We had a wonderful tea time break in that cozy and lovely tea house. The teas selection is wide (from Mariage Freres) and the tarte tatin was just perfect. The owner, Mimi, knows the region perfectly and is very helpful. Do not miss it!
Quite simply do not visit this place if you have children. The waitress was so rude to ours she reduced both to tears. Can't comment on food or drink as we left before it arrived given we were made to feel so unwelcome.
