The restaurant and food was great. Uncle Sam's always does a wonderful job! What ruined everything was the driver. He parked illegally in front of my garage, which made it impossible for my girlfriend and the rest of my neighbor's to gain access to their garages. He reacted rude when asked to please move his vehicle. Instead he decided to roll down his window and start to yell at her. He continued to yell until the garage door was completely closed and she was inside. As a result my girlfriend lost her appetite and was not able to eat the food that was delivered. Ordered a hot grinder and received a burnt and cold sandwich. Literally uneatable.. Never got my ranch and the draft beer was warm and had a stank bitter taste.. Asked for my bill 3 times before I had to ask someone else for my bill.. Our server was chatting with the bartender while our beer sat for 14mins after being poured and our food in the window for that same time. Management literally does nothing and servers all suck except the little blonde that has been there for years.. Seems to be the norm today with 1 person doing it all and the rest just there to take up space.. Place needs to be shut down. It's time has come..
Uncle Sam's Restaurant impressed us with its delectable wings and fries. Sharing the large Philly cheesesteak fries was a delight—it hit the spot perfectly. This place is the Cheers of pizzaria--great, authentic service and food. Great place to pop in for a reminder of prepandemic times. Employees are fantastic--they deserve free ? ?. Not having more free plays on the jukebox does not make you want to stay long. $1.75 a 3 min song is $50 an hour for your customers and employees to be entertained....but I know music licensing is expensive. Fantastic sandwich, employees were happy to help find the best way to deliver exactly what I wanted.

Had a Stromboli (Italian sausage and mushroom) ehhh it was ok. Not very doughy. Got zucchini sticks WITH RANCH, which were directly out of a bag. its a peeve of mine, but when I got the bill it was an extra $0.99 for ranch. If something says it comes with ranch (or even if it doesnt) a side sauce shouldn't be an extra charge. Unless there is a condiment shortage I'm not aware of. Plus I got a 1/4 cheesesteak that cost $8! What a damn joke. This place is nothing to write home about.
Placed order since 10am. I got a call saying that some of the food I placed an order for ran out. I asked for a refund after they offered me alternatives but they said it couldn’t be refunded since I paid online. I also received my order 13 minutes later, wouldn’t be a huge deal, but I ordered it at 10am! I’ve had issues before. But this time I had company and wasn’t a fan.
What happened to this place used to be so good now I had to throw away half my food when I got home the Stromboli tasted like water with no seasoning except for some pockets near the edges that had some sausage. The marinara sauce was so burnt I could only finish one mozzarella stick. Very disappointing.
Love the food but needs to add Blue Cheese to the menu. Only giving 4 stars because I'm from Buffalo NY, so if you are going to serve Original Buffalo Wings, you need to offer BLUE CHEESE!

This is one of my favorite dive restaurants in Phoenix. The staff is lovely and the food is always crave-worthy. Wings and cheesesteaks are top tier! Fried mushrooms are addictive.
