My wife ordered a pineapple margarita and declared it the best she had ever tasted, saying she could easily drink ten of them! We started our meal with muscles and octopus empanadas. The muscles were gigantic, juicy, and flavorful, but they didn't come with any bread. The octopus empanadas were unique and delicious, though they would have benefitted from a dipping sauce. For our main courses, I chose the cod ravioli, which were perfectly cooked and seasoned. My wife ordered the steak frites with peppercorn sauce, and she loved it.

Unico offered a truly unique experience. Everything about it—the concept, the design, the menu, and the cooking—reflects the vision and dedication of owner Brian Sernatinger. Until yesterday, I didn’t fully grasp what that entailed. Most importantly, don’t be fooled by the exterior; there’s incredibly delicious food waiting for you inside. The staff is hardworking, friendly, and attentive. The drinks were also impressive. The duck wings, ribs, and Cochinita Pibil (a special pork dish) were all remarkable. Oh, and don't forget to save room for dessert!
We came here the day after Valentine's Day, so it was quiet. We loved the atmosphere, but more importantly, the food was fantastic. I could eat 12 of these octopus empanadas. My wild boar Ragu was in the square, and my wife's steak frites were perfectly cooked. Drinks were also very good. We are very happy to enjoy this neighborhood lottery again very soon!
We always enjoy this gem! Everything is so fresh and we love that the menu changes. The staff is friendly and professional and the restaurant is spotless! Don’t forget to try the craft cocktails! Below is the Mahi main dish and the Bucheron appetizer.

One of the top restaurants in Westchester! The cocktails, appetizers, entrees, and desserts are all fantastic. The food is even better than that at the Inn at Pound Ridge. Unico is an ideal casual dining spot with first-rate cuisine.
Nice relatively new place to check out! Some things were a bit under-seasoned. Smaller dining room makes for more intimate setting. Nothing was out of this world impressive but overall good quality food and service.
Great food as usual. The chef has adapted his menu to attract a wider variety of tastes. Even his comfort is elevated. Hidden gem!
