I am surprised Unrefined has a 4 plus review. My husband had a surprise gathering for my birthday. He asked a friend to find a gluten free birthday cake and she chose Unrefined. I've heard of this bakery but never tried it. My review, let me say no one ate it. It was a sheet cake (my husband paid $80 for it! and NO ONE ATE IT! It tasted like it was made with straight coconut flour and the texture was dense and stiff (even thawed, and tried lightly microwaving it . The frosting was good! I threw the whole cake in the trash. Horrible! Ordered a vegan cake for my daughter's Sweet 16 and it was awful. The décor was not like the picture, the cake taste horrible, and only a couple hours after moving it out of the event center it started sinking. When I talked to them they only wanted to give the cost of decor back to me. My baby cried her eyes out about this and the management that finally called me back had no empathy for the problem at all. This cake has been cut three times and each person said it was dry and disgusting. So how does the refund for the decor cover a cake that wasn't edible? I've had vegan desserts before and they taste nothing like this cake did!

They were very tasty, even for someone like me who is picky about food. My favorite was the Loaded Monkey, which tasted like a delicious chocolate chip banana bread with peanut butter frosting and filled with chocolate frosting. They were quite large in size, unlike the small cupcakes typically found elsewhere.
The experience was just average. The keto muffins were quite small for the price of $4. They didn't really resemble muffins, more like unfrosted cupcakes. I assume the high cost was due to the packaging rather than the muffin itself. You could probably find similar microwavable keto cake cups at Walmart for a lower price. I had ordered a strawberry cake online, but received plain vanilla without any prior notice. However, the cake was decent and tasted good.

I ordered a custom pizza and a slice of derby pie. The pie was delicious. The pizza was okay, a bit soggy, but I think it may have been due to the third-party delivery. I really enjoyed the variety of baked goods options and will definitely be returning, this time in person.
Love their dairy free and gluten free options. Everything I've tried is delicious. Some locations are better in customer service than others. Avoid the Fort Worth location, no parking space and multiple bad services. The Dallas locations are good.
Everything here is very fresh! I love that their breads and pizza bread are frozen. I personally enjoy the banana bread with walnuts and their chocolate brownie muffins. Delicious!
This is one of my favorite DFW bakeries! The Chunky Monkey is my favorite cupcake. It's baked to perfection with the right amount of frosting.
