So for a weekly catchup between two best friends, we decided to head over to Untied in the newly occupied Barangaroo reserve here in Sydney. Now we were up against HORRID weather - it was weirdly cold and humid and we were sweating in the coolness. In the concrete jungle that is this place, it was a refreshing rooftop change. In saying this however the view is definitely not fabulous due to the under-way constructions right in front of it *sigh*. Nonetheless, we still enjoyed it. Here is my run down:Food: 7/10Just a little off because the salad with the prawns was a little salty, and well.. and the calamari taco we ordered was a tiny bit dry and the sauce outshone the flavours. The menu:7/10F...

When I walked in they were super helpful setting me up with a table and a bar tab. I've been before and knew drinks were expensive with the house wines starting at $14 each. However at $28 for a large glass of house wine, I think they should have mentioned it. The staff are brilliant at getting you to spend without you realising. When I commented on the amount to the bartender closing off my tab he said 'Well that's Barangaroo'. The arrogance... Shame I won't be going back because it's such a nice space. Doubt they care because it's packed with no promotion.
Return visit and as good as the first. The vibe was post-work, beginning of the weekend, but then it was 5pm on a Friday. Lots of energy, good young DJ playing a good mix of background music. Fast service for a busy bar, nice to be outside looking at the sunset. Food/bar snacks very good too. If I had to be picky, the second round of cocktails were the same order but not the same quality. The first round was exceptional and identical to our previous visit, the second not so.
We Party of 4 2 vegan 2 non vegan) really enjoyed the five course vegan brunch $49 pp). The food was fresh, very flavoursome and well presented. There is a very good drinks menu which includes a good selection of cocktails, some of which are very pricy. The service was good but could have been improved. The wait staff could have been more attentive Eg. Refilled water when necessary, replaced soiled napkins etc). Book a table now
A new discovery. Have been twice this week to this newly opened rooftop bar in the heart of the newly developed barangaroo precint. Staff always were friendly and accomodating and they have a good range of craft beer wine and cocktails available. Havent tried the food yet but this place is popular with good reason. A welcome addition to barangaroo. Really enjoyed the hawthorne golden ale on tap. Worth a visit.
Barangaroo has limited bar options, so nice to see this one added. Outdoor seating, works well on a nice evening, not sure about a windy winters night. Good selection of wines. Would have been nice for table service, you order from the bar and then need to take everything back to your table
Only been open for a short while but busy already. We went on a rainy afternoon which wasn't ideal for a roof top bar but they have plenty of undercover seating so it wasn't a problem. Very attentive staff who were good fun. Will certainly go back!
Satay tofu was good but cold and there weren’t many vegan options. Cocktails are amazing though New review: 5/5 for vegan brunch. Delicious and great portion sizes. Highly recommend Updated from previous review on 2023-04-30 Book a table now
Service was very slow Obviously disorganised as it's only been open a week. Rooftop bar has potential but the lack of service and the fact they ran out of the wine we wanted just summed up the night.
