This restaurant does it all from roasting coffee to all you can eat spaghetti. The venue vibes with Banksy prints and mellow jams across its two part floor plan—food to the left, coffee to the right. My wife and I have been coming here for several years. They have changed their menu and raised their prices. The Monster Burrito is largely potatoes and black beans had to search to find the eggs and bacon. One coffee and two entrees $62 with tip. I am afraid they have priced themselves out of our budget.
We had a lovely waitress, who was very friendly and helpful. We like being able to make reservations so we can get right in. The food is always very good. Great coffee! Fun, funky atmosphere, but with all hard surfaces, it can get pretty noisy.
The service was quite slow. The light fixtures and vents on the ceiling were grimy and coated with grease. An automatic service charge was added, even though there were only two of us. Overall, the food didn't seem worth a return visit. Book a table now
Yum yum YUM! All the food was great! Waitstaff was very kind and accommodating. Service was a little slow but this is a place you want to relax and take it all in anyway. Makes spending time with friends very enjoyable.
Nice little gem in a ratty part of town. Our server was terrific. Only snag is the sound system is banged up to ten, so you have to yell to have a conversation with your pals.
We had a table for four, and three of us ordered the fried chicken and waffles. Unfortunately, the chicken and waffles were overcooked and burnt.
