I've been visiting this place for about five years now, and in my opinion, it's the best brewery in the United States—no exaggeration. The quality of their beer is consistently exceptional. The only downside is that they’ve set such a high bar that other breweries just don’t measure up anymore. Urbanrest's beer is the gold standard against which I compare all craft brews, and nothing else even comes close. Coming from a German family and having traveled to Germany a couple of times, I can confidently say I know what good beer tastes like. Wonderful brewery with an amazing staff. Their passion in brewing truly shines with all the incredible beer they make. They hold home brewing competitions periodically to give back to the home brewing community, which is exactly how they started. They also brew kombucha, along with a wine choice or two.Relaxed environment, and a great place. Have some charcuterie options, but there is always a great food truck option! Can’t recommend enough.
My brother sister in law had their baby shower here today, this brewery is awesome!! Highly recommend for events or just to hang out, they have a separate room for events. The waitress, bartender and I believe owner were awesome and the waitress was extremely quick (serving 60ppl)!Thank you for making the baby shower so awesome, easy and a huge success. Urbanrest is simply outstanding! They offer excellent beers, a great atmosphere, friendly staff, and fun board games to enjoy. I’ve hosted birthday parties and a pre-wedding celebration in their private space, and I would absolutely book it again. You have the option to bring your own food or enjoy offerings from the food trucks they typically have outside. Without a doubt, it's my favorite brewery in metro Detroit!

Absolutely amazing!! I just rented out the back room for my husband birthday. The staff was incredibly nice and great service. I didn’t bring anything to decorate because the space was beautiful already. I highly recommend this place! Also the beer and wine was great! THANK YOU Urbanrest!!! The night was incredible!!!!
The beer selection is excellent and priced reasonably for craft brews. The staff is friendly, accommodating, and always ready to help. This is a very dog-friendly place that I highly recommend for a fun outing with your pup, thanks to the fantastic beer options and the constantly changing food pop-ups.

The beer here is top-notch, and I'm quite selective when it comes to my choices. I appreciate the addition of kombucha on the menu, and the fact that there's a play area for kids makes it a great spot for families. It's really family-friendly!
