This is a lovely old world Italian restaurant that reminds of another time. It was a snowy day and the restaurant wasn't crowded for lunch, but the food was great. The bread was fresh and delicious. The homemade minestrone was light and fragrant. The shrimp were excellent. It was my girlfriend's birthday, and our waiter, on his own initiative, brought a delicious dessert with a message in chocolate. We will come back in any case.
Great food and service. Very friendly staff and very accommodating for our two children. We all ate until we were full and went into our pockets with two more meals worth of food. Great neighborhood restaurant and good Italian food. I would recommend the Calimari as a starter who can keep up with the best that Chicago has to offer. 10 out of 10 experiences we will come back! ????????
I haven't been back in a few years. I wanted a comfortable place to spend an evening with friends. Reminds of Via Veneto ... and it didn't disappoint! Cool, comfortable and the food was wonderful! We will come back!
Pleasantly surprised that this great restaurant was open on New Year's Day! Even more surprised that they had a zucchini spaghetti dish on special - yummy! And ... panna cotta !!! Yum! Book a table now
Dead at 1pm lunchtimePerhaps it is because this menu is dull or because it provides no value. Pork is at an all time low price wise.
After having had dinner here for a long time, we were very disappointed with almost everything. Hope it was just a deviation.
