I went to this restaurant a few times. The first time I really liked it, but last Saturday night, I think the system they use couldn't cope with a lot of people. vapiano has a simple concept, freshly cooked/prepared dishes in front of the customer. order your pasta/risotto/salade and it's for you while you wait at the counter. Pizzas cooked while you wait at your table. reasonable prices but not cheap and I was surprised by the final invoice for four of us. however good wine, very tasty food, pleasant staff. Hit the place! It is not a Lyon experience but we enjoyed it.
this guy, first of all, didn't look totally clean. Anyway, how can I be sure? But watching him prepare my dish of pasta (starting pasta in the pan, then almost randomly ingredients) just made me think: hey, I can do it better at home, why pay a dubious guy to do it for me?
a very good evening with the flavors of italia. friendly staff, clean restaurant and good things in our plates. c is our second passage in this restaurant, and pleasantly surprised by the small changes made regarding our 1st coming.
It's kind of fast food. You order behind the cook's counter, they prepare your plate in front of you, you settle and eat, and pay out. pasta is good. 10-15€/size what suits me.
