In a city with countless places to grab a sandwich, what sets Varsi apart is their bread—it's simply exceptional! Every sandwich served on that bread is worth savoring. Among their other fantastic offerings are their delicious chicken options, stuffed peppers, potato salad, both dried and fresh sausages, and their meatballs, which I believe are only available on Thursdays. There's also the roast pork, a special available once a week. Honestly, everything I've tried here has been amazing, and that's why I felt compelled to write this review.
Recently, they've added a new item to the menu that I have to tell you about: the chicken sandwich. If I say it rivals Chick-fil-A, I mean it wholeheart...
I absolutely love it! ALTER SCHOOL DELI outshines KOLDEN KUTZ. They offer delicious green rice balls, roasted peppers, homemade sausage, and daily specials. They also have frozen pastas and sauces, along with a selection of Italian specialty items. We always get something fantastic from here. It's consistently awesome!
Got a 3 foot Italian Chicken Sub...the star of the party! Delicious from first to last bite. Had their four house cured salamis sliced for a charcuterie platter...reminded me of some of the best street market meats I had on my honeymoon to Italy.
Excellent local deli. They make great sandwiches and have fresh cold cuts and salads. Sometimes it can be very crowded where you will be waiting some time but definitely worth the wait. You can even call ahead and do a pick up. Easily recommend

A traditional deli in Whitestone that's definitely worth the wait, even if there's a line. They make their own pasta and ravioli here, and the sandwiches are incredible. You can really taste the love that goes into them.
This is a jewel in our neighborhood. I love their olives so fresh and tasty if you love different olives. They carry pastries and many products that you cannot get in a supermarket. Big people, too.
Varsi deli is great we have been going there for years. They have a lot of products made on site. Their sauce is very good their cheese ravioli is the best.
Great old school feel deli with great Italian delights! Their Chicken cutlet sandwiches are excellent! You will not be disappointed!
