Upon our arrival, it seemed that there was no reservation made. The restaurant explained that they were experiencing issues with OpenTable. This was not a promising beginning. I decided to order a pizza, only to find out that they were out of a key ingredient, so that option was unavailable. Why wasn't I informed of this before I even looked at the menu? The service was sluggish, as I ordered a glass of wine to enjoy with my pizza, but it didn't arrive until after I had finished eating. Thankfully, we weren't pressed for time.
During our initial visit to Veeno, the restaurant employees were extremely attentive, prompt, and polite. We were seated promptly, although we requested to be moved as we were initially placed by the main entrance door. Our drink and food orders were taken quickly, and the food arrived promptly. The cheese and meats sharing platter was delicious, with generous portions for both of us. We would recommend this restaurant to others, as it was a positive experience overall.
This restaurant is a fantastic spot for a quick meal, a refreshing drink, and some good conversation. It is conveniently located and the staff is friendly and always ready to assist.
