On December 21, I ordered both wet and dry wings, but they weren’t as good as the first time. Unlike before, the takeout box didn’t have aluminum foil inside to keep the food warm. Despite that, the staff was very friendly. The bar area was quite busy with people going in and out. Eventually, a server closed the door after another staff member explained that the guests were actually employees. The wings at Velocity Wings are large and full of flavor. While the speed wings are quite heavily baked, my favorite are the grilled wings. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, always happy to provide as much sauce as you like. The restaurant is generally clean, though on this visit we found some pancake syrup on our table. We were seated immediately with no wait. I’d rate it 4 stars because the service wasn’t as attentive this time—we had to ask for napkins, plates, and to have our table cleaned. Still, the food is consistently delicious. It can get a bit noisy inside, so it might not be ideal for a quiet hangout or conversation. The bathroom is always spotless.

Highly recommend! In the 6 years I have lived in NoVa, these are the best wings I?ve had in the area. Perfect combination of saucy and crispy. I got the mango habanero and island dry rub (pretty much Jamaican jerk). Both were amazing but the mangohabanero had too much heat. Not that I can?t handle spice but usually mango habanero should be sweet and spicy. The heat wasoverpowering in this case. Also had the tator tots and cheese steak egg rolls and both were very good.
Nice place to go, sit outside and enjoy good food and beer. Labeled as a wings place but all the food (sandwiches, apps, etc. is good. Wings are tasty and well cooked and seasoned. Well priced compared to it's neighbor. Kid friendly.
Environment was nice especially if you?re trying to watch some football. The wings were pretty good but the pricing is a bit high in my opinion. However I can see myself returning
The wings were good and they had a lot of sauces to choose from. Its a good place for lunch or a quick bite to eat. It was clean and not very crowd.
