Six of us went today for the first time. The menu selection was very good and the food was well cooked by Papa and served by his three friendly sons. Quite often menu del dias have the same boring foods, but here they have included other dishes. The salmorejo was very good, the albóndigas very tasty, not bad wine, delicious lemon mousse and good coffee. All of us enjoyed the meal. I would say though that if they could improve a little on the patatas fritas, that would be even better, but they were okay. Oh, and to sit there for three hours, maybe some cushions on the wooden chairs? Having said all this, 11,50 incl wine and biscuit with coffee and a mini chocolate , excellent value and we wil...
We stopped at Cafeteria Sorroche for lunch with the plan to have the menu del dia. However, when we saw the tapas menu we were impressed and so decided to order from it. No regrets at all. Every dish was tasty and nicely presented. Spanish omelette was wonderful, as was the grilled hake, pork in pepper sauce, and grilled prawns. Service was friendly and efficient. Definitely worth visiting if you’re in the area.
Hemos venido aquí por más de 15 años. El menú ha cambiado con un montón de tapas y opciones de racionamiento, pero sigue siendo nuestro favorito Menu del Dia. El patio exterior se ha renovado con nuevas mesas, sillas y fotos que cuentan la historia familiar en Mijas. Gran comida y Servicio en una hermosa ciudad con una sensación de pueblo. Gracias por hacernos sentir siempre bienvenidos y por la gran comida.
Buen sitio para comer, de lo mejor de la zona. El menú del día tiene bastantes platos para elegir, cuanto más elaborados mejor (los callos con garbanzos están espectaculares, por ejemplo... , y las cantidades son apropiadas. Los tres camareros te atienden muy bien, y en general se está muy a gusto en el local. Recomendado

Quizás fuimos un mal dia. La ubicación excelente. Hemos tomado un desayuno. Creo que deberían mejorar el servicio al cliente, personal poco empatico y no pendiente de los clientes y mesas. El desayuno bien y los precios bien.
Don't expect fast service...everything is done at a veeerry sloooow pace! Great if you're in no hurry : Good selection of tapas, toritilla was the beat I've had in years and the montaditos de lomo are a must have.
Excelente comida local con un gran servicio amable. Muy razonable precio con un menú fijo disponible todos los días. Si quieres comer lo que los lugareños comen en casa entonces este es el lugar.
Recomendable 100%. Platos mediterraneos, cocina malagueña, limpio y en el centro de la Cala. Los calamares fritos con aceite muy limpio, son el plato que siempre pido, y una ensalada de atun.
