This charming Italian restaurant has a nostalgic feel that transports you to another era. Despite the snowy day, the lunch crowd was light but the food was fantastic. The bread was fresh and tasty, the homemade minestrone was light and aromatic, and the shrimp were top-notch. It was my girlfriend's birthday and our waiter surprised us with a delightful dessert accompanied by a personalized message in chocolate. We will definitely be returning in the future.
Great food and service. Very friendly staff and very accommodating for our two children. We all ate until we were full and went into our pockets with two more meals worth of food. Great neighborhood restaurant and good Italian food. I would recommend the Calimari as a starter who can keep up with the best that Chicago has to offer. We will come back 10 out of 10 experiences! ????????
I haven't been back in a few years. I wanted a comfortable place to spend an evening with friends. Reminds of Via Veneto ... and it didn't disappoint! Cool, comfortable and the food was wonderful! We will come back!

Pleasantly surprised that this great restaurant was open on New Year's Day! Even more surprised that they had a zucchini spaghetti dish on special - yummy! And ... panna cotta !!! Yum!
