I understand that finding good staff can be difficult, but the manager on duty was completely ineffective. I felt I was treated poorly because of my casual clothing on a Sunday, which was disrespectful. Normally, I don’t complain to staff, but this time I felt it was necessary. When I asked to speak with the manager, the bartender even broke down in tears instead of addressing the issue, making excuses—which I witnessed firsthand.
Overall, this was the worst experience I’ve had at a Nordstrom Cafe, especially considering its location in The Grove. The service was terrible, and I won’t be returning. I intend to escalate this matter to higher management.
I absolutely love this place! The menu offers a fantastic variety, from burgers and pasta for my kids to salads and salmon Oscar for myself. I always intend to share pictures because the food looks stunning, but I keep forgetting to do so. The service is wonderful, and we really enjoy sitting on the patio for some excellent people-watching.
This is my go-to place before heading to a movie at The Grove. They offer amazing drinks, featuring a great selection of craft cocktails and mocktails. The food is tasty, though it's not exceptional. Even when The Grove is crowded, you can often find a table here. Just be aware that they have limited hours and close at 8 PM.
In addition to the mouthwatering chicken tacos and spicy calamari (served with a delicious new dipping sauce), I've discovered a new favorite: the artichoke spinach dip. However, the service here is just as appealing as the food, as it always has been.
