I ordered from this restaurant for the first time and tried the buffalo wings and onion rings. The onion rings arrived a dark brown, nearly black, and the wings, which I had requested to be well done, were undercooked. Both items lacked flavor; they tasted more like something you would microwave from the frozen section at Target. Overall, I was not impressed.
The menu is straightforward and well-crafted, perfect for a casual bar experience. If you could add some cheese to the Bavarian pretzel instead of just mustard, I’d gladly give you a sixth star! I highly recommend this place—it's a great neighborhood spot to catch a game, enjoy a drink, or grab takeout, all with friendly service.
The food was very basic, tasted like you could by it frozen out of target and heat it up. The atmosphere was nice. Our waitress was very attentive and sweet, much appreciation to her (Lorraine I believe). The food is definitely not worth the price we paid for it, very lightly seasoned.
Considering that the community in Port Washington deserves a decent sports bar, it's a shame that Versus Sports Bar does not live up to expectations. The lack of quality food detracts from the overall experience, highlighting that Versus is not the sports bar this neighborhood needs. Book a table now
The bartender was extremely helpful and crafted some excellent drinks. The atmosphere was friendly with a nice local crowd. The jerk wings were absolutely delicious!
The wings are fantastic, and the beer selection is impressive. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. It's a wonderful spot in the neighborhood!
Excellent sports bar! Great staff and super environment. Saw a band there last night and it was I want to go back and try everything on the menu!
