Via Alloro is a great restaurant. I had read the reviews and many weren't very good. The food that we selected from the menu was excellent. From the free table bread to the turkey meatball appetizer to the mushroom risotto to the pasta with beef and mushrooms it was seasoned well, served at the right temperature and adequate portions. The service was amazing. We were there on a Friday night at 7 pm and the place was packed and we were seated immediately. If you love Italian food and love Beverly Hills this is a perfect spot. Valet parking is convenient and literally in front of the door. If you sit outside, people watching is great! I really think many of the very negative reviews were large...
There was no issue with the quality food and beverage. My dining partner and I began by ordering drinks all good. Next we ordered an appetizer to share and two entrees. No more than five minutes later here comes the server with our appetizer AND entrees. WTF? This is an upscale restaurant, do I really need to tell them to course the meal! I was angry and told him to take back the entrees and course the meal properly he was not happy with my response but did so begrudgingly. His lack of basic steps of service ruined what could have been a great meal.
We have been a somewhat regular customer. We ordered a veal dish, which was delicious and spaghetti with clams which was so so. We were disappointed, especially given the prices that they charge. We will go back, but I hope that the quality of the food improves. The service was terrific and the ambience very enjoyable. 
My daughter went with her friends and my husband and I sat at a table nearby. The server was very polite and accommodating. The staff checked on us multiple times throughout our dinner. The food was great as well.

Loved everything! The food, the service and our waiter were all great. Caesar, salad, pene w pink sauce and margarita pizza were all great. The chili oil is not spicy at all though.
Via Alloro is a lovely spot for a good meal with excellent service and friendly staff. Not overly priced for Beverly Hills, which is appreciated!
The pasta and chicken were awful. Pizza was excellent. Service was mediocre. Cannot recommend.
