With a trip to the small, very beautiful town of Schmalkalden and his castle Wilhelmsburg we made a visit to the Viba-Nougat-Erlebnis-Welt. Anyone who likes nougat for sweet nasty is at his expense and taste for small samples. In the shop the selection is huge. I missed inexpensive items that were unable to act for “small complaints”. Otherwise there is something for every Nougat lover. The history of the company is a bit too short for the films to lead. Viba should be more visible and heard. In some cases there were more general film content about Thuringia, of course with many interesting tips and information. Well done, but I don't expect this to happen in the Viba world. We visited the oldest Nougat production of Thuringia. For over 100 years, this company has been producing delicious, handmade chocolates and truffles in the upper price range. After the tour of the house we visited the Geniusesser Restaurant, which also looks very noble. At the entrance there is an exclusively dressed figure. You can order coffee here with sweet cakes or hearty dishes. You can also sit on the sun terrace with attached playground. Here too, prices are in the higher range. At the end of the day, there is also a purchase in the in-house factory sale.

A successful combination of restaurant/café/shop and museum can be found in Schmalkalden in the Viba Nougat Experience World. The Nougat world is always worth a visit, be it to go to food, make a trip with the family to finally see how Nougat is made at all or to buy gifts for the loved ones at home quickly. You always find something to leave the Nougat world completely happy after that. In beautiful weather it is also sufficient to visit the complex to rest on benches or to observe the children on their playground.
Seit Jahren besuchen wir Viba in Schmalkalden. Einer unserer Favoriten ist u.a. der saisonale Himbeer-Nougat mit Crunch. Ich hatte diesen vor kurzem online bei Viba für 's Osternest bestellt. Beim heutigen Verkosten musste ich leider feststellen, dass der Crunch so hart war, dass das Essen dieses Artikels leider keinen Spaß machte. Es wäre schön, wenn sie bei der nächsten Produktion des Himbeer-Nougats darauf achten würden, wieder ihren alten Crunch zu verwenden.
Hat Spaß gemacht. Wir haben einen Regen-Nachmittag hier verbracht. Kuchen war lecker, sehr nette Bedienung. Die kleine Ausstellung im oberen Bereich interessant. Der Shop war auch gut. Kommen gerne wieder

Werksverkauf Viba Nougat, großes Restaurant, viele Parkplätze. Auf jeden Fall ein Besuch wert.
