The service we experienced at Vicinty was terrible all round being a sunny friday evening the outside areas were very busy, with people having drinks. When we arrived we waited outside to be seated as was noted on a sign at the entrance. We were stood there for a good trying to catch the attention of staff, before we were told dinner reservations should go inside to be served. Once inside we requested to be sat near the open French doors, which we were told was not a problem. We sat down burger was a bit disappointing a tad dry, not enough sauce which was in fact the best part of the burger. Fries were good. I made a reservation but upon arriving at the restaurant found that didn’t matter as a group arrived, preordered a large menu and anything ordered would be delayed by at least an hour. I tried to be understanding but with a reservation I’d expect they’d allot for those meal tickets in the kitchen. If you cant trust a restaurant to fulfill your expectations w a reservations, what good are they? We ultimately went someplace else.
Ordered drinks first and then ordered our food about mins later, the drinks arrived after our starter did. Not great, we asked for tap water and a ash tray as we were sat outside and neither arrived we had to ask again. The food was presented nicely and tasted flavorful but the view of the tower bridge and sitting outside was the best bit
We had booked but the restaurant didn't offer us a sensible table and we had to insist on a decent table. There was no cloakroom and the restaurant seemed puzzled that we didn't want to put our coats on the back of our chairs.The service otherwise was fine but the food was below par.Overall, disappointing.Paul

Disappointed. We had multiple waitress taking our order and waited minutes for our drinks. The apps came out before the drinks. Then waited again for a while to put in our mains which came out incorrectly. It was just very disorganized and bit chaotic

Afternoon tea a lovely selection of well presented, delicious sandwiches, scones cakes. We enjoyed every bite, but couldn’t finish it all
