We were visiting Raleigh for the day to take the family to some museums, we're from Wilmington and decided on this cute little spot for an early dinner...Overall: 9.8/10, honestly. Great atmosphere, clean, friendly staff, Daniel was hilarious and he and the other nice blonde haired server missed her name, she was very nice) really made sure me, my wife and our 4 kids were taken care of. The Food: 9.5/10 it was top tier Italian, flavorful, well presented and reasonably priced for what you get, a filling plate. I had the Pollo Del Re. This was my third visit to Vic's. This time, I ordered the Kalbsparmigiana, while my wife chose a pizza, and my daughter opted for the children's fettuccine Alfredo. My wife absolutely loved her pizza with its crispy crust. The garlic knots were delicious, too. My Parmigiana was great, but I think my daughter's fettuccine Alfredo was the best I've ever tasted. To top it all off, we enjoyed some live piano music. I highly recommend Vic's!
If you know what authentic Italian cuisine is, you will love Vic’s. The pizza is how a real pizza should look, feel, smell and taste. Sauce not too sweet, bubbly crust, not too thick, and the freshest ingredients. The gnocchi of my friend were light, fluffy pillows of the sky. But the best part of our meal was our Italian server, Katia. She was beautiful inside and outside. Thanks for a nice evening.
As for the food, I’d rate it 9.5/10. It was top-notch Italian cuisine, flavorful, beautifully presented, and generous portions for the price. I had the Pollo Del Re, and we definitely plan to return if we're in Raleigh again. Thank you for providing a great place to relax and enjoy delicious food with wonderful people after a long day! The food is amazing, tastes fresh and homemade, the workers are fun and attentive. This restaurant has a great atmosphere, would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for good Italian food. The BEST lasagna I've ever had from a restaurant and we've been to quite a few local places but none top this place.
Enjoyed a nice lunch off from Lake Boone Trail. Met with a friend. There was no hassle in securing a seat for two inside, though there is excellent seating outside for fine weather days. The food is excellent and the service superb. The food arrived quickly, for those pressed for time. Will definitely return.
Absolutely amazing food! The linguine with white mussels, Pasta Primavera, and Penne Vodka were all incredibly delicious. We're visiting our son in New Jersey, and we'll definitely add this restaurant to our regular rotation when we come to Raleigh! Thank you, Vic's, for exceeding our expectations!
Enjoyed a nice Tuesday lunch at Vics on Lake Boone Trail. Enjoyed the 'New Yorker ' pizza and the 'Original ' Stromboli! Service fast and pleasant, and the business lunch atmosphere made for a nice meeting place. It was delightful to hear Italian echoing across the dining room!

Delicious old school family type Italian food very well-done. I had a seafood dish with pasta, red sauce, clams, shrimp, and more. Every bit was delicious with fresh pasta and well prepared seafood. My entire table very much enjoyed our meal. Great Caesar salad too!
