I'm not from New York, so whenever I'm there or close to NYC, I like to get a slice of pizza. The atmosphere and service at Victor's were 5 stars. Fast and friendly service, and the interior was comfortable for a pizza place. The pizza slices are large and tasty, but they weren't any thinner than what I get in South Jersey or Philly. I wasn't disappointed, but I was hoping for that crispy thin crust that NYC is famous for. In Victor's defense, they are NOT located in the city.
The owner pushes to get cash for all orders and gives discounts to people who pay cash, so he does not have to pay sales tax (and most likely income tax too). Business owners must pay their due share of sales tax and income tax AND charge the same amount to all its customers. The owner has a sign asking people to pay for food with cash to get discounts, so he does not have to declare that money. The discount is more than what the card companies charge.

Victor's Pizza is always a hit with my family. They offer a wide variety of choices and the garlic knots are a standout favorite. I rate the food, service, and atmosphere all a 5 out of 5.

The eggplant Parmesan was excellent and the lunch specials were a great deal. The takeout service was efficient, and there was plenty of parking available.
