View by Sydney - Table reservation

Please be warned that my review could be seen as biased (but not as far as I am concerned), as my daughter's wedding reception was held at View by Sydney recently. Drinks and canapes started to be served on the outside verandah at 5.30pm providing guests with ample opportunity to mix and to catch up in full view of the Bridge and Luna Park whilst there was still plenty of light. The serving staff were polite and hard working. The only point is that, quite often, the more favoured canapes (e.g. tempura prawns) were all gone before they reached certain pockets of people on the verandah. Nice view and tasty food ! Unlike other places, they managed to keep all their foods nice and hot for 100pax on a freezing day. Excellent place for a large reception and a nice ceremony location if you have less than 30pax. Recommended to reconsider another ceremony location if you have a larger group since it can be a bit tight on the restricted area. The wharf belongs to the council and it can not be rented for weddings. Hickson Park Reserve would be a great ceremony location - excellent views and close proximity to View By Sydney.

It wasn't the best meal I have ever had but it wasn't inedible either and the great service, superb location and efficient staff made for a wonderful evening on such an important day!

We had our office party here . Amazing location but was very disappointed with the food. The paella was the worst i have ever eaten. Had no taste.

Great venue for a wedding adjacent to the harbour bridge. Very good food and attentive wait staff. Drinks kept topped up
