We were three adults with two (well dressed and well behaved) children at 5 p.m. on a Sunday. The restaurant was half empty and the rude hostess pushed us to a high bar table between a gas station and the kitchen door. According to someone other than the hostess, they were taken to a normal table. The staff was either overwhelmed or just terribly trained. The service took forever, the orders were wrong, and the music was unnecessarily loud. BBQ brisket tasted like it had been hit with a mallet and soaked in liquid smoke. The only good thing I can say about this place is that the onion rings were amazing.
I love Virgil's BBQ. The food, the service, the waitresses, the music and the portion of food are great. People are friendly. The price of food is little expensive, but overall the experience is great fun
I was really looking forward to trying out Virgils. The Memphis BBQ ribs were excellent. However, I was deeply disappointed with the Texas BBQ Brisket. I only had pieces of fat. Very little real meat.
I ate here for the 1st time and wellit was different.

The ribs weren't done enough in our opinion. We haven't fallen off the bone quality. The taste is good, just not cooked the way I like it.

I want to give a higher rating but the vibe I received from the restaurant staff has left me with a horrible taste.
Enjoyed the food and the ambience, but the music downstairs was a bit loud, couldn't hear my friends across from me!
I have been on the hunt for the best salad around, so we stopped by VB since many of my friends are here tonight.
