Dining by the lake if you happen to be able to catch the sunset is amazing. The service does take its time I think they try to be a bit more higher end but fine. Really loved the wine list. I ordered the prawns and...scallops with parmesan risotto and really enjoyed it but a couple of the other dishes my colleagues ordered look okay not amazing. They have some typical german dishes as well as dishes inspired by other european countries like pasta, ravioli. Nice place but maybe slightly more expensive than some of the other restaurants in the area
christmas dinner a la caret. well, many pretty names on the map for, my opinion, average eating, which was quite clearly presented. the appetizer salad has a bit of a crunch, which can happen at feldsalat, but in this type of restoration should not occur. the tapas variations were delicious and varied. the main course, schnitzel villa lacus, was ok. the best in the evening was the old marille of prinz, because you can't do wrong. ah yes, the man was always striving.
We had a great wedding party at Villa Lacus! Fantastic food, great drinks, extremely professional, helpful staff in the service and an incredibly competent and customer-oriented management that perfectly supported us in the planning and organization of the celebration and implemented our wishes. Absolutely recommended, be it for a big celebration, the great lunch table or even an evening with drinks on the beautiful terrace. Thanks to the whole team!
One of the best restaurant in bensheim. Good food for reasonable price. You can eat outside which is pleasant during spring or summer on a small lake. Unfortunately the motorway is quite close and create noise. But pleasant place to have a drink...or dinner. Also restaurant room inside when it is chilly

In Bensheim the location with the most beautiful view. Outside food with a view of the lake. Really great! Food and staff are just as good. We're here more often. The large beer garden is also great! Next to Villa Lacus Team!

I only ordered a salad and soup, but both dishes were very tasty and large enough to be meal in themselves. I saw plenty of locals enjoying their Sunday dinner
