We went to Villa Manila on a Thursday for lunch and we didn't know that it was Closed for regular patrons due to special Thursday special reservation only.The Owner and the Manager accommodated our party even without reservation and gave us the best full service and the best Filipino dishes. We will definitely comeback to Villa Manila Restaurant when we visit San Diego...Thank you From Jhun Ciano of Massachusetts.
I recommend this restaurant.... we really enjoyed our food. Fried chicken, sinigang bangus, kare Kare, pansit bihon and halo halo for dessert is a must. Everything was delish ! Good service, I must mention. Thank you and we will come back if, we are in the area.
We had the shanghai lumpia and the manila style fried chicken (1/2), plus the garlic fried rice and ice cream. All were good! Service was fast as well. These guys have come a long way from when they used to be a Max's Fried Chicken back in the 80's.
It felt like home! I just returned from a trip to the Philippines, this place has got it right! And our waiter was wonderful, the service includes taking our pictures!
