For years Villa Maria has been one of my favorite restaurants. They provide excellent service and give you huge portions, but they aren't cheap. If the quality of food is top notch, I don't mind paying extra for it and for years, Villa Maria was top notch, but lately the quality of the food hasn't been great. They went from a quality Italian restaurant to little more than a average take out place. I don't know what changed, I believe it's the same owners, but the food just isn't as good. As I said, I'll happily pay their prices for the good stuff, but for what I've been getting lately, I'm happy to go somewhere else.
I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. The bread was a perfect way to start the meal, and the sauce, meatballs, eggplant, and chicken were all irresistible. The pasta was cooked perfectly. If you haven't tried this place yet, you're missing out on a taste of authentic Italian cuisine that reminds me of my grandma's cooking. I can't wait to come back when I return home from Pennsylvania. Thank you for the delicious food - please don't change anything! I look forward to visiting again soon.
I have been a customer here for years and I have always had the best food and service !! Their portions are huge and delicious. The service in the restaurant and at the counter are excellent always attentive. Their pizza is my favorite.
I used to live in East Rockaway and moved to Arizona. Villa Maria is one of my first stops right after I land and meet up with my family. The service is excellent, EVERYTHING on the menu is delicious, and Pina and Maria are the best!!
