You get to the restaurant through a big, bright, plastic-y bar with a TV playing football and a rather unhelpful bar staff. The maitre d' didn't speak English but indicated we should serve ourselves from the buffet and sit anywhere we wanted. No attempt at ambience and small tables set out unattractively. The cold food (plenty of excellent salad items as well as good ham and cheese) was fine but the hot food was glutinous and unappetizing and rather over-coloured. No menu and no labels on the various dishes so we didn't know what we were eating. An enormous and friendly chef presided over all this and we believe you can ask for dishes to be prepared, but again, no menu or non-Spanish languag...
