We (three adults and a child of two years and five months) have the restaurant on 17. February 2020 visited again and was once again enthusiastic about food and service. The restaurant is really recommended. The ambience is very beautiful and in summer you can also sit on the terrace outside. The food comes quite fast, the service is top and the services are very friendly. Unfortunately, locality is not recommended if you want to return with smaller children – the house staff was very friendly to the children – unlike a number of guests who have visited us in a more embarrassing and insulting way after our grandchild was a bit loud. Wir hatten einen wirklich richtig schönen Abend hier. Vom ersten Gang bis zum Hauptgericht hat einfach alles gepasst – super lecker und mit viel Liebe gemacht. Der Service war total aufmerksam und freundlich, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Man hat sich direkt wohlgefühlt. Auch die Weinkarte ist echt klasse, da findet man auf jeden Fall etwas Passendes. Besonders toll fanden wir, dass auf Allergien ganz unkompliziert eingegangen wurde – das ist nicht selbstverständlich. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und können das Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen!

I come here with a friend who wants to get to know the restaurant: also she is delighted with the spicy, tasty dishes offered on two menus, one for Villa Thai, the other with sushi by the Master Kusakabe. Spring rolls, red curry and sesam ice cream was very delicious. My friends who had Sushi were not all happy with it. The staff was very friendly but occasionally forgot to bring something (we were a group of 8). The price was ok, i paid €46 for my 3 course menu with a bottle of water, a lemongrass ice tea and a cappucino.
Hmm, ein seltsames Restaurant. Das Essen an sich war gut, wenn auch nicht außergewöhnlich. Ambiente und Service ziemlich gruselig. Gähnende Leere, es fühlte sich ein bisschen nach Lost Place an. Da gibt es Freiburg wirklich bessere (und günstigere) Alternativen, die mehr Lebensfreude versprühen.
If you're on a business trip, you should stay here. In the restaurant there are very good authentic Thai dishes. The evening can be ended with one or more cocktails. To stay overnight, I can recommend Thai comfort rooms. Very nice Thai furnishings. Recommended by Michelin.
the restaurant is great. tasty eating, friendly service and formed over food allergies (in my case, they were very attentive the whole dinner around gluten for me.) highly recommended.
