TRASH!!! I ordered 4 large cheese pizzas to be delivered to my son’s school for his third birthday party. I placed the order online, but called and spoke to the owner the day before as well just to verify that it was all set. He reassured me that my order was all set and would be delivered at the school for 11:15am. At 11:30 when the pizza wasn’t there, I called Village pizza and the owner said that he had run a little late but that the delivery driver had just left the shop so it would be there soon. When the pizza still hadn’t arrived at 11:45am, I called in a panic because I now had 20 hungry preschoolers expecting a pizza lunch. The owner basically told me that he uses a third party deli...
I've been visiting Village Pizza since I was a child. Even as a teenager, my friends and I would ride our bikes there to share a large cheese pizza and some fries. In my opinion, their pizza is the best around. The subs aren't far off either, especially the meatball sub. Village Pizza has always been a cornerstone of the Shrewsbury community, and I make it a point to stop in for a bite whenever I'm in the area.
I would rate this place zero stars if I could. We have tried giving it another shot, but we've reached our limit. Our orders are consistently wrong, and the owner has the audacity to argue that it's our fault when he makes mistakes or forgets items! I'm honestly surprised he still has any customers!
The owner creates exceptional Top Shelf Pizza, featuring BBQ chicken and caramelized onions. The crust is just right. The Greek pizza is unbeatable. He's been in business for 30 years, and his cooking skills reflect a lifetime of experience.

I just tried their cheese pizza and onion rings, and both were quite good. The older gentleman behind the counter was friendly, but I could sense that he might not sit well with everyone.

Fantastic pizza! The jalapeños make for a great topping, and the small pizza is just $8. I’ll definitely be back!
