Sat at the bar and ordered there. Ordered new pimento cheese and bacon omelette came with potatoes and muffin. Very good. Personally, I thought it was a little light on the Pimento cheese, but it was good. Not too hard. Also ordered shrimps and shrimps. Always a good choice. Husband always wishes it came with a muffin. Bartender personally and efficiently.
The Tavern has struggled the last few months. They have had turnover in management, waitress personnel and systems. The services delays have recently been corrected but my salad arrived without poppy seed dressing and it took a long time to get hold of our waiter. Eventually everything was corrected
It's always a great experience. The hospitality and kindness of the staff is amazing. We went to dessert this time and were very satisfied with the service, the time we needed to get our dessert and taste of our choice.
VILLAGE TAVERN NO LONGER HONORS OPEN TABLE RESERVATIONS! Found this out upon arrival with a “reservation”. THEY NEED TO BE REMOVED FROM THE SYSTEM!!!
