We have just returned from the Villino after nights. The service, style, food and location is perfect. All of the staff are brilliant, everyone is so helpful. The room was beautiful, as is the hotel. The food every night was perfect. The breakfast was...one of the best we've ever had, the choice was superb. It definitely helped that the weather was also perfect and enabled lots of great walks in the surrounding countryside. We'd love to return when it's snowing. Thank you for a perfect holiday.
The atmosphere was beautiful and elegant; the wait staff was knowledgeable, polite and warm; and the food was truly amazing. This meal was in my top three meals of all time. I savored every bite of the white asparagus soup and bruschetta and shrimp rolls....As a complete experience, this meal was a dream come true. If you are in the area, do not miss having a meal here. You will be so glad that you did. I hope we get a chance to meet the wonderful chef!
Come here for impeccable service and an outstanding meal, as expected from a restaurant of this caliber. Menus are set, although minor adjustments are available. Food is amazing, creative and delicious. Wine pairings are fun but if repeated, I would spend the same amount on...a bottle of great wine. Be prepare for a whole evening, lasting hours in a lovely setting.
Food rater boring, wine pairing unspiring and very unflexible staff. Nice setting, but price for value far from other one star restaurants. I have rarely experienced such a boring restaurant.
