I had noticed this restaurant while walking by a few times and finally decided to give it a try one day. I'm glad we did! The food was perfectly prepared, with a great variety on the menu to choose from. The decor was pleasant, bright, and airy, creating a warm atmosphere. Although it was quiet when we visited, the service was quick for both the food and drinks. The menu had a wide selection for everyone, and I particularly enjoyed my American style toastie. My daughter ordered a sandwich from the children's menu, which came with fruits and vegetables on the side - she absolutely loved it. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant when we visit family again.
Was given a voucher as a gift for afternoon tea. First visit to this eatery. Extremely friendly staff. Was given the opportunity to choose from their menu despite out voucher was for afternoon tea. We chose a home cooked Turkish meal which was absolutely delicious. Left some room for home baked carrot cake, again delicious. Would highly recommend this tea room for breakfast or lunch or just a quick coffee. Our bill was more than the voucher but as a good will gesture we didn't have to pay anything. The restaurant offers a great selection of dishes for brunch or lunch, all of which are delicious and reasonably priced. The spinach dip with a secret ingredient is absolutely amazing, and the hummus is also very addictive. The lemon poppyseed cake is incredibly moist and tasty. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, with a charming decor that is perfect for families with children. I can't believe I haven't tried this place before, it's simply lovely. I will definitely be returning!
Random walk in and we were pleasantly surprised at a very good experience. Large tea room with a very wide menu so Something for everyone. I have the soup and baked tattie with chicken tikka. The lentil soup was proper home made lentil soup. My partner had a curve ball choice we cannot remember the name) which was equally good. We found this place by a chance, as we were waiting for our train. But I couldn't be happier, this place was absolutely magical. We had hot chocolates and a tea as we didn't have much time, but everything was delicious. The staff was super friendly. If I haven't lived over 2000kms away from this place, I would be a regular customer for sure.
This was our first time visiting this restaurant for lunch. The menu was fantastic, especially for those with gluten-free dietary preferences. The service was delightful, with a friendly, polite, and courteous waitress. The food was excellent, although we did not have the opportunity to try the cakes.
Stopped for late lunch. Very friendly staff. Lovely decor. Great varied menu with excellent choices for gluten free eg gf bread, gf paninis and gf pittas (plus 3 gf cakes on the day we visited) Excellent healthy main courses too and superb choices of tea (ask for the separate tea menu).
Consistently excellent cafe, warm, welcoming with friendly staff and delicious food. The cakes, especially the Jaffa Cake are amazing. We love coming here especially when we bring friends.

Owners are very friendly and helpful. Great food, great atmosphere. I would really recommend the cake with white chocolade and passionfruit. Worth a detour.
