Loved the ambience. The coconut shrimp and the empanadas were very good. They both had a hint of spice which made them both very delightful. I had the fried chicken meal and the chicken was very good but I was not at all impressed with the macaroni and cheese. It had way too much milk in it. The collard greens were just ok. The cornbread was tasted different but was still good. My friend had the Cajun salmon and it was very good. My other friend had the pepper chicken and shrimp which was also very good. I went to House 157 restaurant, for the first time, everything was excellent. We will go back again .
