We accomplished our first Camino de Santiago shortly past 11 pm, hungry, and were looking for a fine place with delicious meal to celebrate the day. To our disappointment, all places we checked in the centre either were just bars with snacks or had kitchens closed. We started giving up on an idea of locating a proper restaurant we could eat in until we ran into Cervantes. What a delightful finding! We were so happy to hear that not only the kitchen was open and ready to treat us to delicious food but also that friendly staff did speak English! : Both my meat-eater partner and myself, a vegetarian, found the menu rich in options to all tastes. We had seen the eating establishment earlier in the day during our visit to Santiiago. As bad weather appeared to be imminent, we headed back here and got in must before the heavens opened. Pimientos de Padron were one of the features on the menu that had appealed, so they were ordered, along with patatas bravas and a meaty tapas dish for my wife. Later, we had a couple of home made desserts which were slightly more average than the main meal. The service was very pleasant and there was a steady flow of customers. We would be happy to return.
We went in family to dine ; we asked for very big and good razors ; normal peppers and octopus a little hard ; . for the petty-bourgeois girls who were very small but very tasty meat ( come with goat cheese and caramelized onion thing that we did not see, I don't know if I put it in a letter or not but we had to remove it ) and a wonderful mushroom and chicken brooch that was according to a little acceptable sum. the good thing is that you can order lid (the pulp and peppers are lid )
We vere in the Vinoteca Cervantes twice, we ate and had lovely Spanish wine both times, good food and nice staff. They serve little plates of appetisers while waiting for the dishes we had ordered. Great bottle of wine for just Euro 13, certainly not expensive, and well worth visiting to relax after walking for hours.

a cozy place, with its terrace. They're super attentive. They make very rich cakes, they always put a piece to accompany the coffee. very good place also to eat or chop some tapas. I recommend it. breakfast and dinner, is all very delicious and very well presented
We went on Sunday to take a little wine; three peaks (3,5€) and a bad boy (2,5€) with such complimentary tapas. we ordered a tosta cervantes (4€). small, but very nice place, although the table service is somewhat slow. I'd recommend it.
Dropped in for a coffee but had a glass of wine each instead. Good quality wine both red and white. Made a second visit for more wine and cake!
