The recently opened Vintage Tea Room at Chesham House is run by volunteers and offers a delightful variety of homemade cakes, teas, and coffees, all served in elegant china tea sets. Proceeds from the sales support the Royal Voluntary Service's work with local elderly residents. The tea room is not exclusively for retirees, as all are welcome to enjoy the reasonably priced and high-quality offerings.

My friend and I went to Lancing today with our babies (1 year old and 7 month old). We were made extremely welcome by the staff at the tea room. They couldn’t have been more accommodating. I had a cheese scone and it was both delicious and an extremely reasonable cost. The staff there were very friendly towards our babies and we will definitely going back! I would 100% recommend this to any families.

Proper old fashioned in a nice way tea room. Extremely good value, can be busy on special days, but always room for another, and even when quiet, always someone to talk to if you want. Warm, cosy with great range of homemade cakes and an espresso machine. Says it all for me. None of this instant stuff for me.

I always receive a warm welcome at The Vintage Tea Rooms. They serve delicious homemade scones and cakes. The vintage tea rooms provide tea in proper china cups at very reasonable prices. The volunteers are always smiling and do a fabulous job for the local community. I would highly recommend this place!
