Virgile - Table reservation

This place is literally racist — we walked in a group of 3 Asian people and they cleared a table for us and when these two white people behind us decided to walk past us and sit themselves down at our table the waiters AND manager refused to do anything about it. I told the waiter that this felt racial because it’s literally their restaurant and they told us that people aren’t supposed to seat themselves so why couldn’t they easily go up to them and say the table was reserved? AND THEN the waiter had the audacity to tell us “I’m hispanic I have an Asian husband” like okay thennn why aren’t you doing anything about this? I feel bad for your husband! And you look white so what now? And then sh...

Went here for dinner last night, was told it was a 30m wait to be seated so we went to the bar and waited. An hour later, I went to check in on our table and was told “I was just going to get y’all” then we got to the table only to be told the kitchen had JUST closed. No apologies for wasting our time, nothing.Terrible experience, will not be going here again for sure.

Grabbed dinner with a friend we ordered fried oysters as an appetizer and we both ordered burgers with fries! The oysters were absolutely delish... they could easily rival ANY seafood place in Durham! The burger was fresh, juicy and tasty, while the fries were crisp and hot! Excellent meal!!

Great food options. Quality of bar service has been trending downwards recently. Staying on menu would be best, but I don't find their drinks to have the greatest variety, especially when you consider other newer options in downtown Durham.

So good! We had cheeseburgers, fries and beet salad and it was delicious! Please open a restaurant in Wake Forest!
