My friends and I had the most beautiful dinner yesterday. The environment is relaxed and intimate, perfect for almost any occasion. We were quickly greeted when entering and they had already prepared our table. Our server was extremely attentive and knowledgeable, he offered suggestions if we could not decide between all incredible decisions. We had the Pimento cheese and deviled eggs as starters, both excellent. When someone was born and raised in South Carolin, I can say very much that the Pimento cheese was some of the best I ever had. (Sorry, Grandmama) My friends and I ordered the Seasonal Salad, which was perfectly balanced, shrimps and geese and the Fried Chicken plate with baked Mac...

I couldn't say enough about this restaurant. We have eaten twice there and decided that it is definitely our way to see all over Charleston. Our first time there was the night we were engaged and the staff went beyond and beyond, free champagne, desserts, appetizers, everything! Today we went back to the first Valentine's Day as a married couple and again they exaggerated. The food could not be better and people could not be friendly anymore. This place is true Southern Hospitality in its most beautiful! The Perloo may be the best food I ever had, and my wife loves the Flounder and the Gries! I couldn't recommend a better restaurant in Charleston!
We had a reservation for 6 at noon. Our party was seated around 1210 upstairs. The downstairs was busy and energetic with mostly natural lighting which I liked. The menu was balanced with options but not too many. I ordered the chicken biscuit sandwich with a pancake on the side. The server was nice(seemed overworked though) our food took a really long time to get to the table. The food wasn?t as flavorful as I?d hope but overall the food was good. Ordered two cocktails
Traveled to Charleston for a weekend getaway. Saw Virginia's on King and thought we'd give it a try. It was around noon and they offered brunch. We didn't have a reservation but since someone didn't show up, they were able to accommodate us. No wait. The location is great located in historic downtown Charleston, so within walking distance from our hotel. The food was decent and the drinks were good. My husband and I both had the Crab Cake Eggs Benedict, I had home fries Book a table now
Enjoyable experience with good food and nice atmosphere. Country Benedict has a great poached egg and the bacon biscuit was huge. If anything a little too much biscuit and could use a bit more bacon. The restaurant is fairly small so a reservation is important for a weekend visit. Also the dining area can get somewhat noisy as tables get bussed. Otherwise the cocktails were great and service was friendly and quick. Would recommend as a great way to start off a Sunday.
I 'll begin with the food (because that 's most important). Most of the reviews here are for brunch or breakfast. I 've never done either. They don 't do dinner Monday through Wednesday, but when they do it 's worth it! Photos with this review show the she crab soup, seasonal salad, cheeseburger, and Tabasco maple salmon with mac cheese and black eyed peas. All are delicious. The salmon lacks any kick despite the Tabasco reference. Although the food is worth it,
There for our jubilee and began with the sawmill Poutine (Fries with cheese curds and sausage engraving) followed by the roasted chicken. I had the collar greens and potatoes for my side and my wife had black eyes peas and Mac and cheese. Everything was excellent along with the banana pudding for dessert. Very recommended for my friends. I can't wait to go back.
Evil egg. Mais cream was very young and delicate and tasty. Chicken crispy when a little spice is missing, but perfectly cooked. Hoppin John needed more taste. The best lime cake ever! Flounder and grits sensational. Book a table now
Great brunch here. Nice atmosphere and friendly service. The crab cake Benedict was incredible. We visited during restaurant week and the strawberry waffles were excellent. I would definitely come back.

"I had a wonderful Caesar salad at this restaurant. They also had Impossible meat, which was delicious. The only drawback was that it had a limited menu for ordering at the counter, rather than having a server."
