At last! An organic inspired cafe/restaurant has come to Lilli Pilli offering gluten, dairy and allergy free along with paleo options to those of us who need these choices. The best thing is that we are not talking meatless 'exclusive' organic where you feel like you need to be wearing cheesecloth to belong - no, here everyone is catered for with amazing fish and chips, mesa platters to die for and beautiful salads. Its been with much expectation awaiting the opening of Vitalo at Lilli Pilli. The shopfitting has been watched expectantly by many passers by for months now. Since opening it's been very well patronized and I had to try it for myself this morning. The menu is an 'all day' affair so you can have salads for breakfast and eggs for lunch if you like. The emphasis seems to be on healthy, organic and specially sourced ingredients. I had to try the pumpkin waffle which was really good and partner had the granola which is really packed with all sorts of nuts and served with almond milk and honey. The most brilliant healthy feel good cafe around the Shire! I have been coming here regularly since the day they opened, either solo to spoil myself after a great workout, or with the children for a milkshake after school. The menu is fabulous (I love the baked eggs) with a few different but delicious items (butter coffee... who would have thought?) and everything is good for the body and spirit! The layout and decor is gorgeous and relaxing and all the staff are bubbly and very helpful. Patty the owner and life force behind Vitalo makes her way around the customers smiling and laughing.
We had a lunch with a group of friends here over the weekend and really enjoyed it.We found it hard to make a choice on the menu as the options were plentiful. We opted for the mussels, pumpkin salad and smashed avo. All meals were incredible especially the mussels! I wanted to eat the sauce like soup! Yum! We also had some coffees and paler treats afterwards and the pineapple, pear and coconut bread and snickers slice were the highlights.The service was amazing very friendly and attentive.The prices were very good for what we had. We will all definitely be returning.

We visited this place a couple of weeks ago and had two bacon and egg rolls with coffee to go and thought wow tasted perfect and coffee was amazing so a few weeks on and we thought we would eat in for lunch had an amazing juice as they have a big selection! We had these amazing sliders with herb shoe string fries absolutely amazing and so tasty a great team of people we found this cafe in a back street but so glad we did its a really great find!
Had coffee and ordered almond milkGirl brought it out with all spills on the handle..then she took it back and wiped it with a chux...owner came out and said I'll give you another...I said fair enough that would be nice. Almond coffee was delicious !Shared a pumpkin waffle came out with blueberries and blackberries plus yoghurt..I had to ask for the walnuts (that were on the menu) a generous bowl of walnuts came out....I'd go back !!
First time for me but other family members go to this Lilli Pilli local quite often. Really impresssed with the friendly service and helpful nature of the guys there. We had the special soup for lunch seafood bisque which was light and tasty. Good coffee also. A very pleasant lunch.
The atmosphere was chatty and happy, service was pleasant. Coffee was great and everyone enjoying their food. Only one negative, the area was very warm. Maybe the fans will come later. They have really invested well in the decor. I wish them well.

Nice healthy options for a meal. Tried a butter coffee but think I would stick with a cappaccino. Staff very pleasant. Prices are a bit pricey. Yes I would go again
